JONATHAN HALLAM IS A MULTIDISPLINARY ARTIST
Working with photography, moving image, performance and sculpture.
Hallam’s work is formed by the relationship he develops with his subjects.
He seeks to sensitively allow the subconscious feelings of his subjects;
empowering the flow and direction of the subjects to express themselves,
often leavingotherworldly impressions.
For over 20 years, Hallam’s photograph’s have featured in many publications and
documented behind the scenes for Maison Martin Margiela from 1998-2008.
The publications include Purple Fashion Magazine, Self Service Magazine,
Another Magazine, Dazed & Confused, Dazed Japan, ID Magazine and A Magazine.
Hallam has been exhibited at FOAM photography museum, Amsterdam
and 4 Martin Margiela retrospectives.
Theses include;
Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Somerset House,
Palais Galliera and Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Les Années Hermès.
